Phoebe Robinson is a New York Times bestselling author, comedian, actress, and producer! She is best known as one-half of the hit podcast turned HBO series 2 Dope Queens. Phoebe has established herself in the book world with multiple best sellers including You Can’t Touch My Hair: And Other Things I Still Have to Explain; Everything’s Trash, But It’s Okay and Please Don’t Sit on My Bed in Your Outside Clothes. She recently launched Tiny Reparation Books, a curated literary imprint dedicated to publishing literary fiction, nonfiction and essay collections that highlight diverse voices. With the development of this imprint Phoebe has committed to publishing works that dive into and reflect current conversations.
Phoebe is no stranger to being on the screen! She has starred in the movies Ibiza and What Men Want, and also moderated Michelle Obama’s Becoming book tour! In 2019, Phoebe launched Tiny Reparations which is a production company under ABC Signature. Her first series for the company, Doing the Most With Phoebe Robinson, premiered on Comedy Central in 2021 and featured a lineup of interviews with noteworthy figures in pop culture such as Gabrielle Union and Tan France.
Most recently, Phoebe saw her words get put into motion when her book became a tv show! In a feature for ELLE magazine Phoebe talks getting herself camera-ready after Everything’s Trash received the green light from Freeform. Phoebe stars as herself and the show is based on her life as a 30-something podcaster making her way in NYC. Think modern day, Black, Carrie Bradshaw!
