In the Book Clurb, We All Fam: Spotlight On a Few of Our Favorite Black Bookstagramers

Hey, Well Read Baddies!

You know here at She Well Read, we believe that reading is more than just a solo journey—it’s a way to connect, grow, and build community. And in the spirit of that community love, we’re putting the spotlight on some of our favorite Black bookstagramers who are absolutely killing the game right now! 📚✨

Inspired by the Broad City line and current popular trend, “In da clurb, we all fam,” we wanted to give it a bookish twist—because in the book club, we really are all fam! The beautiful thing about the bookish community is how it brings together readers from all walks of life, and there’s no better way to celebrate that than by highlighting the voices of amazing Black creators who are making waves in the space.

If there’s one thing we’ve learned on our podcasting journey, it’s that we don’t grow alone. The community that surrounds us lifts us, teaches us, and reminds us why we fell in love with reading in the first place. We see this sense of community every day on bookstagram—where a shared love of stories and characters brings us all closer together, no matter where we’re from. It’s important to support each other, share each other's work, and celebrate the diversity of voices that make this community so special.
